Dansverkstæðið offers training and workshops for dancers and choreographers. During the winter months there are morning classes with experienced  teachers twice a week. The class level is  professionals and advanced students. Morning class is free for members of Dansverkstæðið, non-members pay 1.500 ISK pr class. Various skill enhancing workshops for performing artists are given now and then.
